Learn more about coaching before committing.

Bolster Coaching offers a free 30-minute consultation to see if coaching is the right approach. During this time, we’ll talk through what’s going on, learn more about coaching, and discuss the coaching process and logistics. Please read about the difference between therapy and coaching before scheduling.

*For clients under 18, a parent or guardian should attend the first meeting. An additional free consultation with the coach and the under 18 client is available upon request.

What is Coaching 

Coaching is a client-centered, forward-looking, action oriented, process that helps teens and young adults build skills, gain confidence, and take steps toward their goals.

What it is? Coaching begins with a personalized assessment to understand how life is currently going, and the client’s strengths, challenges, values, and goals. Sessions are tailored to each client; with the goal of building skills they can carry forward independently. When appropriate, the coach collaborates with therapists, counselors, or school teams if helpful.

How it works? Starter Package $500: One group workshop, One 1x1 hour long session. Young people who want to try out coaching before a longer commitment can sign up for the starter package which includes one group workshop about creating a Vision/Action board for the year ahead and a 1x1 session which includes identifying one important goal and creating a plan to work on it. Standard Package: Ten 1x1 hour long sessions. Two group classes. Weekly summary for parents. Most clients start with a package of 10 weekly sessions. After that, they can continue with a few more sessions or schedule check-ins as needed. Evening and weekend sessions are available on request.

​Who Coaching Supports

Bolster Coaching works with teens and young adults (ages 12–26), including those who are neurodiverse (ADHD, autism, learning differences, or other diagnoses).

Every client is treated as a unique individual. The coach partners with parents, providers, and educators when appropriate to ensure well-rounded support.

Best for families curious about coaching and wanting to explore if it’s the right fit.

Custom packages to fit individual needs-please feel free to mention this during the consultation.

Workshop Overview

Our workshops are interactive sessions designed for small groups. Each one lasts between 90 and 120 minutes and is hosted on Zoom for accessibility and connection.

 

In person workshops are available upon request. Every workshop blends discussion, reflection, and practical tools to support growth, confidence, and stronger relationships.

Youth Group Workshops • Defining and Living by My Core Values: Participants explore what matters most to them, define their personal values, and learn how to use those values as a compass for everyday choices. • Identifying My Strengths and Applying Them to My Life: This workshop helps young people discover their unique strengths and practice ways to apply them at school, in relationships, and in planning for the future. • Getting Motivated Even When You Do Not Want To: Students learn strategies to spark motivation, manage procrastination, and take small steps toward goals even on tough days. • Tips and Techniques for Combating Anxiety: Participants gain practical tools to reduce stress and anxiety so they can feel calmer and more in control. • Vision and Action Board to Manifest and Reach Your Goals: This session guides young people through creating a personalized vision board and action plan to clarify their dreams and take real steps toward achieving them. • Preparing for Life After High School: Students build confidence for the next stage of life whether that is college, work, or another path, with tools for independence and decision making. • Leadership Development: This workshop helps young people strengthen leadership skills such as communication and problem solving, while learning how to positively influence others.

Parent Workshops • Supporting Your Young Person’s Mental Wellness at Home: This workshop provides tools and practices to foster resilience, emotional safety, and balance for teens and young adults. • Executive Function and Your Young Person - Tools for Daily Success: Parents gain an understanding of executive function skills and discover strategies to help their child with organization, time management, and focus. • Supporting Your Teen or Young Adult in Navigating Sex, Identity, and Healthy Relationships: Parents learn how to build confidence in having open and supportive conversations about identity, relationships, and sexual health. • The Power of Positive Communication with Your Teen or Young Adult: This workshop introduces techniques to reduce conflict, deepen trust, and strengthen the parent • Parenting for Independence - Letting Go Without Losing Connection: This session helps parents discover ways to support their child’s independence while maintaining closeness and mutual respect.
